Can everyone use your website? Find out in two minutes.

The compliance report checks the accessibility and privacy basics a small business website is judged on: whether every picture has a description, whether the text is readable, whether the forms can be filled in from a keyboard, and whether your privacy policy says what it needs to. Fourteen checks, and each one comes with the fix written in plain language.

It starts with the free scan. Put in your web address and your email, and your accessibility and privacy results come with your score, with the full report one click away if you want it.

What the report tells you

yourbusiness.com

5 checks need attention. 9 already pass.

  • Needs attention: Pictures have no description17 of 41 pictures, on 6 pages
    WCAG 1.1.1
  • Needs attention: Form fields have no labels2 of 3 fields on the appointment form
    WCAG 3.3.2
  • Needs attention: The privacy policy does not say what your forms collectThe contact form asks for a phone number the policy never mentions
    Privacy
  • Passes: Body text is large enough to read
  • Passes: Phones can zoom in
What to do about the pictures

In your site editor, open each picture and fill in the description field with what it shows, in one short sentence. Purely decorative pictures get an empty description so screen readers skip them.

Every check that needs attention comes with its fix, and the report lists all fourteen.

Fourteen checks. Nine for accessibility, five for privacy.

Each one is something a scanner can measure on every page it reads, and each one is named in the report with where it was found.

Accessibility

The basics of WCAG 2.2 level AA that a scanner can see.

  • Every picture has a description for people who cannot see it
  • Headings run in order, so a screen reader can follow the page
  • Text is large enough to read, and dark enough against its background
  • Every form field has a visible label
  • The page can be moved through with a keyboard, and you can see where you are
  • Links say where they go, not just "click here"
  • The page names its language
  • Nothing flashes, and videos have captions or a transcript
  • The page still works zoomed to 200%

Privacy

What a small business website owes the people who fill in its forms.

  • A privacy policy exists and is linked from every page
  • It says what your forms collect, and what happens to it
  • It gives a way to ask questions or have details removed
  • Tracking and cookies are named, and nothing tracks before it is allowed to
  • Forms ask before they add anyone to a mailing list

What this report is, and what it is not.

It is a careful check of the things a scanner can measure: the descriptions, the labels, the contrast, the keyboard path, the policy page and what it says. Those are the things most small business websites get wrong, and they are the things you can put right in an afternoon with the report beside you.

It is not a legal opinion, and it is not the specialist audit a lawyer would ask for in a dispute. If that is what you need, the report says so and points you to the kind of specialist who does it. For everyone else, this is the honest first step, and it is the one the specialists start with too.

Questions about the compliance report, answered straight.

No. One scan reads your site once and every report comes from it. Run the free scan, and your compliance results come with your score, with the report one click away. If you later want the full website report, the SEO report or the security report, they are in the same email, from the same scan.

It tells you where your site stands on the fourteen things a scanner can measure, and how to fix each one. Doing those fixes takes care of the problems most small business websites actually have. A certified audit by a specialist goes further, and if your situation calls for one the report says so.

The scan and the score are free. The compliance report is $49, once. Any three reports, on one website or three, are $99. Nothing renews.

Yes. There is a button on the report that sends it to us for a quote, the whole list or only the fixes worth doing first. The $49 comes off the work.

See where your website stands before you decide anything.

Put in your web address. The scan runs, the score comes back, and your accessibility and privacy results are marked on it.
