Getting started
What's the first step?
A 30-minute consultation. We audit your current online presence and show you specifically what Obris Launch would change in your first month. No pitch, no pressure. Book a consultation →
Is there a minimum contract length?
No contract minimum after launch. We do recommend 90 days minimum for SEO + ads to reach the data threshold where optimization actually pays off, but you're not contractually required to stay.
How do I pay?
Stripe (credit card, ACH). Setup fee charged at engagement start, subscription recurring monthly from launch date. Invoices sent automatically.
Pricing & tiers
What does Obris Launch cost?
Three tiers with a one-time setup fee plus monthly subscription:
- Starter — $1,995 setup + $199/month
- Growth — $3,995 setup + $499/month (most popular)
- Premium — $5,995 setup + $999/month
If you run Google Ads through Obris Launch, ad spend is separate and paid directly to Google. No hidden fees, no percentage-of-ad-spend markup.
Which tier should I pick?
Use our pricing calculator for a recommendation in 5 questions. Rough guide:
- Starter: solo practitioner, decent current website, no paid ads planned.
- Growth: 1–5 providers, need SEO content + more review platforms.
- Premium: multi-provider, running $1,500+/month in ads, want the full stack.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The setup fee and monthly subscription are what you pay Obris Launch. Third-party costs you'll see separately:
- Google Ads spend (if on Premium) — paid directly to Google
- Premium hosting upgrade if you outgrow the included tier (rare)
- Optional add-ons like professional photography or video (flat-rate, quoted upfront)
Can I upgrade or downgrade tiers?
Yes. Upgrade any time — we add the new tier's services and pro-rate the monthly. Downgrade with 30 days notice at the end of a billing cycle. Setup fee difference isn't refundable.
Compliance & HIPAA
In medical aesthetics, compliance is the work that has to be right. Here's how Obris Launch handles it — on every site, on every send, before anything ships.
Is Obris Launch HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Before handling any patient health information, Obris Launch signs a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with you. We use only BAA-covered providers for PHI-adjacent work (MailerLite for patient email, BAA-covered SMS providers if you run SMS, etc.).
Every piece of content we publish — emails, landing pages, social posts, review responses — runs through an internal compliance check before it goes live. We flag anything that could create exposure.
What happens if something compliance-risky comes up?
We flag it and give you options. For most routine issues (phrasing on a testimonial, a service claim that needs a disclaimer) we suggest a compliant alternative. For anything more serious — an allegation in a review, a content request that can't be made compliant — we escalate to you and recommend you loop in your healthcare attorney.
We don't replace your compliance officer or attorney. We're the first line that catches the routine stuff before it becomes an issue.
Do you follow my state medical board's advertising rules?
Yes. Our compliance check is vertical-aware — AmSpa norms for medi-spa scope-of-practice clarity, ASPS guidelines for plastic surgery outcome claims, FDA promotional rules for prescription products (Botox, fillers, GLP-1s, semaglutide), and state medical board defaults. For state-specific rules that change mid-year, we rely on your healthcare attorney to flag and we update our rule set accordingly.
Does Obris Launch include a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices?
Yes. Every Obris Launch site ships with a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, formatted under 45 CFR § 164.520, on its own page and linked from the footer separately from the Privacy Policy.
In this category, an NPP is a baseline — but it's a baseline that's missing across the industry far more often than it should be. We treat it as part of the build foundation, not a year-two add-on.
How does Obris Launch handle before/after photos?
Three things happen automatically on every before/after image:
- FTC Individual Results disclaimer auto-injected inline — non-removable by default
- Written patient consent statement required before the gallery component can publish — toggling it off is not an option
- HIPAA-safe anonymization on testimonials — full-name plus diagnosis pairings disabled by default; auto-anonymized to first name + last initial
Galleries scale from 1 case to 300+ with procedure-level filtering for plastic surgery practices.
What certifications does Obris Launch include for my board cert claim?
The board certification field is a required, non-optional field on every site. Obris Launch generates the full attribution — for example, "Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery" — and never the abbreviated claim "board-certified plastic surgeon" without the named board. The badge auto-links to certificationmatters.org for public verification.
The FTC takes the abbreviated claim seriously, and a named-board attribution is the cleanest way to stay on the right side of the rule.
What about ADA website accessibility?
Every Obris Launch website is built to WCAG 2.2 AA standards by default — keyboard navigability, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, alt text, form labels. Each site also gets a dedicated accessibility page with WCAG 2.2 AA conformance language linked from the footer at launch. Medical aesthetics practices are active ADA-lawsuit targets and we don't leave that exposure open.
Timeline & onboarding
How long does it take to launch?
Most Obris Launch clients launch in 3–4 weeks from contract signing:
- Days 1–3: brand discovery call, access grants, intake
- Days 4–14: website design + copy, SEO foundations, email setup
- Days 15–21: build review, revisions, final compliance check
- Days 22–28: launch + first optimizations + monthly report
We can move faster when needed — we've shipped in under two weeks for time-sensitive situations.
What do I need to provide during onboarding?
We'll send an intake questionnaire covering practice basics, services, team bios, and existing brand assets. Items we need from you include:
- Practice name, address, phone, hours (the NAP that goes on every listing)
- Services offered + pricing (if you display pricing publicly)
- Photos of your practice and team (we can arrange a photo day if you don't have recent ones)
- Access to your domain registrar, existing website if any, Google Business Profile, social accounts
- Your existing patient list (if you have one) for email reactivation
Most clients spend 3–5 hours total during onboarding week. We do the rest.
Who will I work with?
You'll have one primary account manager who's your main contact. Depending on the tier, you'll also interact with the designer, copywriter, SEO lead, and ads manager directly during build and optimization. The team isn't offshored — everyone working on your account is in-house.
Ownership & contracts
Do I own my website?
Yes. Once the setup fee is paid, the website, its content, its code, and its images belong to you. If you leave Obris Launch, we export everything — the site files, the copy, the SEO configuration, the email lists, the social credentials. Nothing held hostage.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. After launch, the monthly subscription is month-to-month with 30 days written notice. Service continues through the notice period. The setup fee is non-refundable after your site launches because that's the front-loaded work that's already been done.
Who owns my Google / Facebook / other accounts?
You do. We operate inside your accounts — we never create a "[Practice Name] / Obris Launch" shell account that we own. If you started without one, we set it up in your name. You're listed as owner; we're listed as manager.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
Then we fix it. If we can't get it right after a revision round, we'll refund what's fair and part ways cleanly. We don't ghost, we don't argue. We're building a reputation, not a collection of invoices.
Services & capabilities
What exactly is included in each tier?
Do you guarantee rankings / new patients / ROI?
No. Anyone who promises specific rankings, patient counts, or ROI is misleading you — Google's algorithm isn't for sale and local conditions vary too much. What we commit to: implementing every ranking and conversion signal we can control, and reporting honest numbers monthly. Rankings and patient acquisition are lagging indicators of that work — usually visible in 60–90 days for SEO, faster for ads.
Can I use my existing website / email provider / ad account?
Usually yes, with a couple of exceptions:
- Website: if your existing site is reasonably current and on WordPress, we'll audit and optimize it. If it's on a locked platform (Wix, Squarespace) or 5+ years old, we typically rebuild.
- Email: we consolidate to MailerLite because they have a BAA and the features we rely on. If you're on Mailchimp and committed to staying, we can work with it but lose some features.
- Ads: we work in your existing Google Ads account. No need to start over.
Do you work with my practice management system (PMS) / EHR?
For marketing purposes, yes — we integrate for patient list exports, appointment confirmation triggers, and no-show notifications. We don't touch clinical data, and we don't replace your PMS. Common aesthetics-vertical integrations: Pabau, Aesthetic Record, PatientNow, Symplast, Nextech, Mindbody, Boulevard, AthenaHealth, and Epic. If yours isn't listed, ask.
Does Obris Launch work for plastic surgery practices?
Yes. Plastic surgery is part of Phase 1B of the Medical Aesthetics Industry rollout, and the Obris Launch template ships with surgery-specific defaults:
- ABPS board certification automation — full board name required, auto-links to certificationmatters.org
- Before/after gallery built to scale to 300+ cases with procedure-level filtering
- Financing page with CareCredit, PatientFi, and Alphaeon partner integrations as defaults
- Recovery content module with procedure-specific patient-education pages
- "Narcotic-free recovery" page as an optional addition for surgeons emphasizing post-op pain management protocols
- FTC-compliant award attribution — every Best/Top/Leading claim requires award name, awarding organization, and year-range fields
Multi-surgeon and multi-location practices route to the Premium+ tier (custom pricing) for ABPS automation, recovery module, and dedicated strategist.
