We built Merriweather Law around a simple idea. A small enough caseload that there is time to hear the whole of a situation, and to explain what happens next in plain words.
Our story
Merriweather Law started with a simple idea about how a small firm should work: take fewer clients, and know each one well enough that the second call is easier than the first.
So the practice stayed small on purpose. The person you meet is the person who works your matter, the fee is agreed and put in writing before anything begins, and everything is explained in language you could repeat at your own kitchen table.
Our energy goes into the relationship rather than the invoice. The result is a practice where you talk to the same people from the first call to the final signature, and where the answer to "what does this mean?" is one you can act on.
Today we help Oklahoma families and small businesses with the matters that tend to define a chapter of life. A marriage ending. A parent passing. A business beginning. Our job is to make the legal part of those moments clearer and calmer, so you can focus on the human part.
